The mode of life (or management) has made a vivid contrast between two major jaebol business corporations. Hyundai Motors takes on the mode of pulling their hands while Samsung Electronics takes on the mode of pushing theirs (handing out). In short, Hyundai is taking while Samsung is giving and giving and giving.
The big Samsung family members are rumored (or reported) to have been literally showered with huge amounts of incentives and various titles of performance bonuses. At this season of year, when the Lunar New Year's Day is nearing and major companies are getting generous, the parents, whose sons and daughters work for this bountiful company, are awaiting the offspring's visits.
The management and labor of Hyundai are at loggerheads with each other once again. With blood-shot eyes and militant slogans, the workers are on their feet again, with red head bands tied around, shooting their arms high up in the air. It's been a somber footage all along. I wish them happy and peaceful New Year (Lunar).
